About Dr. Kevin Cleary
Dr. Kevin Cleary brings more than two decades of medical training and experience to Lancaster Medical, New York State-based private practice he cofounded in 2003. The doctors and their staff provide a full range of complementary adult and family services. In addition to his work at Lancaster Medical, Dr. Cleary also acts as an Assistant Division Physician for Troop A of the New York State Troopers. Prior to his current positions, Dr. Kevin Cleary gained his initial practice experience with Promedicus Health Group and Buffalo Family Practice.
Board-certified in internal medicine, Dr. Cleary graduated from the Louisiana State University School of Medicine with his Doctor of Medicine. While there, he belonged to the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society and the American Medical School Association. Following medical school, Dr. Cleary completed a residency in internal medicine through the State University of New York (SUNY) at Buffalo Internal Medicine Program B. In the third year of his residency, Dr. Cleary received the Dexter S. Levy, MD, Memorial Award for Excellence in Bedside Medicine.
Aside from his Doctor of Medicine, Dr. Kevin Cleary also graduated as valedictorian with a Doctor of Dental Surgery from the SUNY at Buffalo School of Dental Medicine. He subsequently pursued a two-year residency and internship in oral and maxillofacial surgery at Louisiana State University’s Charity Hospital, which included two months of emergency medicine.
Dr. Cleary laid the foundation for his career at the University of Notre Dame, graduating with a Bachelor of Science in Microbiology. He continues to support the school’s football and lacrosse teams. When he is not working, he relaxes by fishing.
